ATC Diversified Electronics offers a broad range of plug-in timers and time delay relays for industrial automation, OEM machinery, process equipment, motors, pumps, conveyors, packaging systems, switchgear, and other applications requiring reliable timed switching.
Available timing functions include ON-delay, OFF-delay, true OFF-delay, interval, single-shot, delayed interval, delayed single-shot, repeat-cycle, flasher, percentage, and programmable multi-mode operation. The collection includes adjustable plug-in TDRs, DIP-switch timers, relay-output timer families, and selected 1/16 DIN timers with plug-in mounting options.
Plug-in construction can simplify installation, replacement, and service by allowing the timer to be removed from a compatible socket without rewiring the entire control circuit. Depending on the model, ATC plug-in timers also provide multiple timing ranges, AC/DC supply capability, relay outputs, cycle-progress indication, digital displays, memory, and programmable operating modes.
Why Choose ATC Plug-In Timers?
Wide Range of Timing Functions: ATC offers dedicated and multifunction plug-in timers for common industrial timing sequences including ON-delay, OFF-delay, interval, single-shot, repeat-cycle, flasher, percentage, and true OFF-delay operation.
Socket-Based Serviceability: Many models use plug-in bases that allow the timer to be removed or replaced without disturbing the field wiring connected to the compatible socket.
Single- and Multifunction Designs: Choose a dedicated timer when one sequence is required or a multifunction model when several timing modes must be available from the same device.
Wide Timing Ranges: Depending on the product family, timing ranges extend from milliseconds through minutes and hours, supporting both fast machine sequences and longer process delays.
AC and DC Options: Selected plug-in timers support AC, DC, or universal AC/DC input power, allowing the timer to be matched to existing equipment and control-system voltages.
Analog, DIP-Switch, and Digital Adjustment: ATC offers dial-adjusted timers, DIP-switch configurable models, externally jumper-programmed timers, and digital-display products for different setup and maintenance preferences.
Industrial Replacement Options: Plug-in formats can be particularly useful when maintaining existing machinery because a compatible replacement timer can often be changed without rebuilding the surrounding control wiring.

The TDT Series True OFF-Delay Timer energizes its relay when input voltage is applied. When voltage is removed, the OFF-delay timing period begins, and the relay remains energized until that delay expires.
Repeat-Cycle, Flasher and Percentage Plug-In Timers
ATC offers repeat-cycle timer families for both OFF-time-first and ON-time-first operation. These products continuously alternate their outputs according to the selected timing sequence while the required supply and control conditions remain present.
Flasher timers provide repeating ON/OFF operation, while percentage timers control how much of a repeating cycle the output remains energized. These functions are useful for cyclic machine, heating, signaling, and process applications.
Digital Plug-In Timer Options
Selected ATC digital timers can also be installed using plug-in mounting. The 425A Series, for example, can use an 8-pin octal plug-in configuration and provides timing from 0.01 second to 999 hours, a high-intensity LED display, selectable time-up or time-down operation, and an available EEPROM memory function.
Find the Right Plug-In Timer
Selecting the right plug-in timer or time delay relay depends on the required timing function, timing range, supply voltage, socket or base configuration, relay-contact requirements, control input, reset behavior, display or indication needs, memory requirements, and whether a fixed-function or multifunction timer is preferred.
